TREE RECYCLING EVENT
Saturday I January 4 & 11 I 9AM- 3PM Evergreen Lutheran Church, Evergreen
The aftermath of the holidays can be taxing on the environment. As an outdoor enthusiast and proud resident of my mountain community, I am constantly looking for ways to support sustainability and our environment. I love that our community makes that easy with the help from Evergreen Sustainability Alliance. As they have in the past, ESA will again be partnering with LAM tree services to collect our holiday trees to mulch and then use throughout our community to help trees and shrubs retain more moisture in the drier months!
Please make an effort to drop your tree off on either the 4th or the 11th of January to keep them out of the landfill! A tree that ends up in landfill emits 4-5 times more carbon than one that is properly disposed of. Take action this year and let’s keep Evergreen, green!!

WOMEN, WINE, & WEALTH
First Wednesday of the Month I 6- 8:30PM Evermore Wine Bar, Evergreen
Women, Wine & Wealth is a local foothills community group created by local Basil Co. founder and financial consultant, Amelia Kauffman (basilgrp.com). In partnership with Kristin Lavelle (thelavellegroup.com), another local foothills resident and financial consultant, these ladies have created a space for local women to connect, network, and support one another’s business endeavors and relationships with finances. As a business woman myself in this community, I have witnessed firsthand the importance of not only women supporting women, but also the powerful impact financial education and support can have throughout all areas of life.
In light of the new year, I wanted to spotlight this local group to potentially inspire any of my local ladies that are ready to educate themselves further in their financial worlds, possibly take the leap in starting a business, or just find an empowering community of women supporting women!
Join Kristen as she hosts WWW every first Wednesday of the month, both in Evergreen and Golden; network within our foothills community, connect with amazing women, make new friends, enjoy a glass of wine, and learn about money and wellness!
