Nestled in our charming, small mountain town, there's a restaurant that is one of my favorite hidden gems—a place where every visit feels like home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with good vibes that make you feel instantly at ease. The food, always fresh and thoughtfully prepared, reflects the beauty of the surrounding mountains, with flavors that leave you savoring every bite. What truly sets this spot apart, though, is the hospitality—genuine, friendly, and attentive staff who make each experience unforgettable. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, quality, and community, and I can’t help but return again and again. 

Opened in 2016 by foothills entrepreneurs Chef Rand Packer and his wife, Tiffani, Murphy’s Mountain Grill quickly became the talk of the town. Their vision developed as they immersed themselves in the allure of Evergreen and thus set out to create an eating experience that reflected just that. Rand and Tiffani  took the essence of our foothills town and wove it into every detail in their restaurant- from the ambience, to their staff, to every item on their menu. Murphy’s ambiance successfully blends that infectious mountain energy with a serene presence, to create a dining atmosphere that embodies the aura of our local community. The staff follows suit, bringing home that sense of casual comfort mixed with genuine zest that only adds to the Murphy's dining experience. And let’s not forget the creatively curated menu, designed by the owner himself, Chef Rand. With over 15 years of experience in upscale kitchens and a background in fine dining, he sought to bring his expertise into a more laid-back setting, to match the Murphy’s vision. This vision led to the creation of casual, yet refined food and cocktail concepts. At Murphy’s Mountain Grill, you'll enjoy the attention to detail and complex flavors typical of fine dining, but with a relaxed, mountain lifestyle-inspired flair. I have yet to find one menu item that was disappointing, nor yet to have an unpleasant experience- must just be the Murphy way! 

It’s no secret that Murphy’s stands to be one of my favorite spots, as you can tell- but it’s not just the restaurant itself that brings me joy to support. As a local, family-owned business, with a passion for its community, Murphy’s genuinely prides itself in building lasting relationships with its local customers, making every visit feel home; bringing that small town vibe straight to their very bar stool. It’s not just your average “one and done” shop-
