Hosted by Senator Cutter, Representatives Story & Titone, and Commissioners Dahlkemper & Kerr, Jeffco Foothills’ Town Hall invites us to explore two urgent issues we are facing as a mountain community. These discussions will focus on building wildfire resiliency for our homes and tackling the skyrocketing costs of homeowners insurance. Speakers Michael Conway, Colorado Insurance Commissioner, and Brian Keating, Fire Management Officer for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, will provide vital insights into wildfire risk assessment, home protection strategies, and the growing concern of water contamination, including the PFA crisis. Additionally, the meetings will feature important community updates on Jeffco planning and zoning, CDOT projects, Conifer Chamber and Library developments, and the future of local legislation and leadership.
